HashTrinket

A small utility application to generate a hash code from any file.

The utility supports MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384 and SHA512. It does not have an installer. It is just an executable that runs directly from the user's machine.

It uses the .Net Framework 4.8, a framework that comes with Windows 11 and newer Windows 10 builds. Therefore, it is almost guaranteed to be ready to run after it has been downloaded. Failing that, the .Net Framework 4.8 can be readily obtained directly from the Microsoft website.

HashTrinket comes at no cost and does not require an internet connection to run.
